Reckless

I found this on Facebook today and had to share it with you. Enjoy!
A 1977 photo of Tommy Woodcock and the great horse Reckless (Pharlap had been dead for 45 years when this was taken). A photo by the wonderful photographer Bruce Postle. Reckless had 33 starts without a win before this brilliant stayer began showing his form, going on to win the Adelaide Cup, Sydney Cup, Brisbane Cup and second in the Melbourne Cup (beaten by Gold And Black, a horse he had beaten in the Sydney Cup).
